This gets posted a lot on the BF board, but just curious for the EP/EBF MoMs on this board....

When did AF return???

I am currently weaning (I make about a half gallon of BF per day) but have yet to see her arrive....

When did yours return? Is it "normal" that mine is still MIA?

I didn't even EBF (lots of supplementing) and I didn't get AF back for 6 months or so and even then the first month was really light.

FWIW, I asked a bunch of my friends who EBF/EP and almost all of them said that while they were breastfeeding, they did not have a period, even if it was 6+ months. I will be curious to see other answers here.

My twins aren't here yet, but I EBF DD#1. I slowly weaned around 8-10 months and never got a period. I got pregnant when DD was about 9 months.

My girls were 9 months yesterday and I am still pumping. I have not gotten it yet. but now that I type this it will probably decide to show up.

I should have said MADE not make. yeah, it was a little crazy there for awhile but I am glad to be making less and less as I go through this slow process of weaning! UGH
