We're currently using Aveeno - I love the way it smells so even though I know I should use an unscented product I'll probably stay with it (we got it as a gift).
I read a pretty horrifying article regarding baby bath products that tested positive for Formaldehyde and 1,4 Dioxane. Here's the link with the article and products that tested positive.
We used nothing untill a year old because it all made her break out really bad. Babies dont need them warm water and a wash cloth works just as well. I talked with a few pedis before I took my pedis advice on it. After a year old we started to use Aveno.
aveeno after hearing my friend tell me everything else on the market made her LO break out horribly..Her pedi actually recommended she try it..My DH has super sensitive skin and i suspect our baby will too
"Yes to Carrots" for baby! I use their shampoo and they just recently came out with a line for babies! The only place that I found stocking it right now is Target, BRU is supposed to start carrying it this summer I heard.
100% natural, tear free, free of parabens, petroleum, and SLS!
Trying to stick to all natural, paraben-free products (which we use for ourself) so we'll try Method brand products first and if those aren't great will move on to Burt's Bees or similar. BRU carries Method baby products, so I put a bunch on my registry.
I always like cheap Baby Magic. It smells awesome and I never had a problem with it breaking out my DS. He has red hair and fair skin, so if somethings going to make someone break out - it's him!
Re: What kind/brand of soap and shampoo will you be using for LO?

Me too. I love how these smell.
check out skindeep database for toxin information on baby products.
I'm all about aveda body wash, california baby lotions, and a few other products with low toxins. Johnson & Johnson will never touch my baby's skin!

Aveeno. We have gotten a TON as gifts. We really lucked out. As long as it doesn't bother LO's skin, we'll stick with that.
Our back up will be California Baby which we have recieved a few of as well!
