***Update on PurpleK & Baby Kaygan inside***

in Pregnant after a Loss

Kristi just texted me and said that Kaygan has acid in her blood, very low oxygen, and a very high white blood count which means she has an infection.  She was very gray when she came out but is now turning more pink in color so they are feeling more positive. They gave her something to flush her blood so they are hoping that will help. If not then they will do a large blood workup on her. She says right now Kaygan is lying on her belly and sucking wonderfully on a pacifier. She did get to hold her for about 30 seconds before they took her away and Kristi says that they will let her see her again in a little while. She hopes to get online and update us all with more soon, including some pictures!

 We're all sending lots of prayers and thoughts to Kaygan and Kristi! Yes

    Aww... prayers for her and baby Kaygan.  That must be so scary.

    I am glad that they have a plan of action to get Baby Kaygan feeling better.  Congrats to Kristi!  I can't wait to see her pics.
