Anybody know how to get spit-up stains out of the carpet?

Four months with the queen of spit-up has really done a number on our carpet. There are like visible splatters everywhere that are seemingly impossible to get out. She just christened the living room for the third time today a few minutes ago. Oi vey.

Anyone know of any magic potions we can try? We have natural wool carpet if that helps.

oxy-clean makes a great stain remover, it's in a gray spray bottle in the pet aisle...it's usually for pet stains but works great for everything! you just spray it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then blot it out with a clean dry towel.

Resolve has a good?carpet?cleaner also. Layla has wrecked havoc on our?carpets. Thank God they are older and need replaced anyways!?

We use a little green clean machine right away if we can. If not, I use BioKleen BacOut. It has natural enzymes in it, so it gets out organic stains really well.

FYI about oxiclean: DH used to own a carpet cleaning business and he says never use it on your carpet. It will react with the chemicals they use to professionally clean them and leave spots later. We use a little bottle of something he concocted himself so I'm no help, but I wanted to warn you.

thanks for the heads up, we have light colored carpet so i never noticed. is it just the oxyclean or all oxyclean products? because i use the oxyclean carpet cleaner.

ZEP cleaner. Works wonders on old dog pee stains and baby spit up. We got it from DH's father who works in a auto repair shop. That's what they use to get oil stains out. We get it at Home Depot.
