    I think she is bitter, she's still waiting for her BF to propose...I'm not sure he will. She's 37 already, so I'm sure she knows the clock is ticking. 

    She used to tell me all the time that she just wants to get married and have kids...now she's the complete opposite. 

    I don't think you have to get married and have kids to enjoy your life, but I really do think she's bitter.

    my SIL has two kids and has told us how much our marriage is about to suck and that she tells everyone she knows not to have kids.  and then assured us we can ask her for advice whenever we want.  yeah, i'll do that.

    I hate when people say sh*t like that... I just want to tell them that DH and I WANT to have kids and I say things that make them feel really bad for saying those things to me...

    Really bugs me when people say things like this. Babies are a blessing, children are a blessing. I think we all knew we would be signing up for some sleepless nights, cranky (hopefully not though) babies, and a little less freedom. But I don't think of it that way....I can't wait...bring it on!!
