Ungrateful Alice... Juicy Couture Mentioned...

My FIL is a doctor and his office staff want to buy us a baby present.

They just emailed DH and told him they have decided upon a Juicy Couture baby bag...

Ummmm, I have a baby bag, and I resent anyone who thwarts DH's commitment to my Petunia Picklebottom purchase after H's arrival.

Plus, They aren't my deal.

Is it ok to say "we already have a baby bag, but thank you soooo much".???

I feel by accepting it I am encouraging Harper to grow up with "JUICY" emblazoned on her butt. (No offense to the look... but not me, either.)

    Hmm that is a tough one.  I don't know what proper etiquette would be.

     

    Maybe you can sell the bag on eBay or have it be DH's personal diaper bag?

    The thought of DH carrying the bag with the big Juicy symbol on it's side makes me totally want to get it now...

    Maybe they'll get it in hot pink too:)

    I don't know.... it depends on where it came from/if there was a receipt.  His dad practices in Alabama and we live in Indiana so there are some differences in stores.

    I think it is wonderfully generous of them, but wish that if they were going to spend the money it would be on something we need/ will use...Tongue Tied

    Different states makes it a lot more difficult :( I was thinking that a lot of stores that carry Juicy baby bags might also carry Petunia bags.
