AW: Long stretch of sleep!

Most of you probably won't be too impressed, (I have noticed a lot of babeis here are STTN by 3-4 months) but E went to sleep at 6 (her usual) , woke up at 10 for her usual first night feeding and then went all the way to almost 5am for the next one! Unheard of. Of course I hate when she wakes up at 5 but today I couldn't even complain! She was so hungry and I was so engorged, I was already at the pump when she woke up. 

that is the longest stretch of sleep I have gotten. I woke up of course and went to check on her so it was not solid, but a lot better than the previous night with three wake ups and still up before 5.  I feel like a new woman. I am sure it was a fluke.

    That's great! I hope it wasn't a fluke and that she'll make a habit of it. I'm definitely impressed since Kyva STILL wakes 2x/night and she's almost 1!

    E has been doing three times lately, but i was being very patient since I just went back to work. I would be fine with two, but three is a little much!!!

    That is great!! Ds usually wakes up at least once and I get so excited when it's on the later side. (like 3 am instead of midnight!) Dh and I always say "let's do exactly what we did last night to see if we get a repeat performance!!" Keep it up baby E!

    YAY!  Love those long stretches.  E slept 8 hours at almost 5 months... and didn't do it again until... hmm... I'll let you know! ;-)  But from everything you've said here it sounds like your E is well on her way to better sleep much sooner than my guy :)

    Hope it's not a fluke and that she continues to sleep for long stretches! 

    If it doesn't continue, let it be the glimmer of hope that keeps you going until the next long stretch!

    That's awesome!  Congrats!  Isn't it amazing how great you feel with that extra sleep?  I hope she catches on to this as a regular thing for you!

    When EJ started giving us 5-7 hour stretches earlier this week I thought it was a fluke...but he has maintained it and I seriously feel like a whole new woman, just like you said!  So WOOOHOOOO, looks like Lele got that peptalk from one of the kiddos she encountered after all!

    Yaaay!  That is AWESOME!  I hope it isn't a fluke, but like you- I always am just so thankful for each and every stint and get very cautiously optimistic...  I hope this is a start of s'thing new.  :)
