I'm not catholic but I had Alfredo for lunch and since it was a late lunch probably will just eat a light snack in a bit or make some soup. DH is in class till 8:30 so its just me anyway

Yup, I'm "Catholic" and I just had spaghetti sauce with beef spare ribs. I simmered it all day. It was delish and I don't regret it. haha.

Crap. Completely forgot it's ash wednesday --although I'm a lapsed catholic. I have steaks already done and we're having fresh green beans and instant potatoes (hey, after you get fresh green beans you expect me to peel potatoes?!!LOL)

Well crap, I blew it. I knew it was ash wednesday this morning but as the day went on I totally forgot. I had turkey for lunch and then a nice steak burrito for dinner. Oops.
