baby gift you have received?

Me: A couple in our church gave us a house warming gift and baby gift at the same time. They gave us a 500 piece puzzle, a candy bar, and a christmas dog that barked to a tune of a Christmas carol when you walked by it. I am not sure which is the baby gift and which is the house warming gift. This is the same couple that gave us their VCR as a wedding gift. Bless their hearts.

    someone gave me an assortment of their kids old pacifiers and sippy cups.... mmm yummy.

    LOL...wow.  I got a wax dipped duck for dd.  Which was cute for the room..scented like chocolate.  Until the giftor took it out of the plastic and sat it in dd's crib Hmm

    I got this felt thing that looks like something a 3yr old made...I asked Dh what he thought it was, he's thinking a crooked hat?  I just threw it away, since it didn't really seem to have a purpose.  And it was very ugly.  And just so you know, the gifter doesn't have a kid.  And for her shower (2wks before) I gave her a nice gift purchased off her registry.  Urrrrrr!

    a little baby doll that my DH's aunt found at the dollar store. this thing has a battery powered voice box and it giggles and says mama and dada, but it does it at random times and sounds creepy as hell. it is not a good companion on a long road trip.

    Can't compete with yours. LOL 

    But it was entertaining to see my mom and my aunt (who are barely on speaking terms) give me the exact same two outfits as a gift.  I remained loyal to my mom and returned my aunts. :)  Not that anyone needs to know whose is whose...
