Pee Pee Tee Pee?

For the sprinkling Wee Wee...

Have you seen them? Do you think you will use them? I have bought a pack and I will try it out so I dont get 'sprayed' by little man...

Re: Pee Pee Tee Pee?

  • My mom got them for us as a joke gift for DS and we ended up actually using them a lot.  They saved clothes, walls, furniture from many a spraying!

  • I've heard a wash cloth works best.

  • I have seen them and I think that from a marketing/silly gift POV they're super cute! We won't actually be using them though, I think just using wash clothes will be just as efficient!

  • Saw them at a maternity store! I thought they were just a gag gift but I could see where they would come in handy..but then again so would a cloth or something free :)
  • I had them but wasn't impressed, the smaller baby cloths worked best for me.
  • No we're not getting them unless someone gets them for us.  There are plenty of other ways to avoid getting sprayed!

  • ill just use a washcloth
  • We received some for our son as a gift, but I have never used them. He only has had two 'accidents' where someone got sprayed. I usually just slip the other diaper underneath quickly.
  • These are so cute!  I think that they make a good gag gift or cute present but in all honesty I have heard that they don't really stay on very well.  A wash cloth or something would probably work better.

  • Nah. I don't get them. What's so hard about putting the diaper over the weenie? You just have to be quick.

Yeah, cute idea. Not really necessary at all. Keep the first diaper over his weewee until you can cover it with the second. Viola.

  • If we have a boy, I will get them. I do not care if they end up being a waste of money..they are too cute/funny not to get.
  • I know a lot of people use wash cloths and stuff like that.  What worked best & cheapest for me was to use the Target brand nursing pads.  If DS pee'd on one I just tossed it and if not, I set it to the side and used it next time.  They cost like $4 for a box of 100.  I'm going to do the same for DS this time.

These are nothing but marketing scams. They prey on excited first time moms of boys! Use the DIAPER you are changing to block the spray of pee. Believe me, you wont have time to reach for your PPTP.

  • Amazon has very mixed reviews on them.  After reading the reviews, I think I will pass and just use a washcloth.

  • This post was supposed to fun, whats up with all the flaming?...I know you can use a DIAPER or wash cloth for that matter, I am not THAT ignorant just because I am a "First time mom"

I don't think you got flamed at all. You asked if people planned to use them and if anyone said no, they just told you what they'd do instead.

No one said you were ignorant. Get 'em if you want to...why not?

  • Sheesh, who is flaming? I never said you were ignorant, either.

You did ask for opinions -- they aren't worth the money.

This does sound like a better idea, then you dont have to worry with washing anything.

  • Not sure if they work or not, at least not pau when the LO is more than a few months old.  but they sure are cute!!! i will have to get a pack at least for fun!
  • I bought some from babybargains.com and gave them as a shower gift along with some other things. The mom to be loved it!
  • Oh and diapers work, too, but sometimes they are a pain in the arse.  For instance, say your DS has an arseplosion (as DH and I called it) and poo gets EVERYWHERE!!!  It takes a while to clean all of the "crevases."  A diaper just gets in the way when you are cleaning up projectile poo.  Trust me, it happens Smile
