Re: new to 2nd tri board..any advice?
I felt my LO right at around 20 weeks.
Welcome. The 2nd Tri rocks.
If you are talking about your first trimester screen they do that around 13 weeks I believe. It is an ultrasound and blood work. It gives you your odds of things like down syndrome and from there they will do more testing if they think it is necessary. We told pretty early on (around 7-8 weeks) mainly because I had already had 1 healthy pregnancy and felt comfortable telling that early. You can tell people whenever you are ready or when you start to show:)
Oh and thank you:) He is a fantastic gift and I would do it all again (obviously lol).
Welcome! I felt light tappings and turning movement is weeks 18/19. She's active in the morning and evening most often and I'm learning not to freak out when she takes her "weekend rest" for a couple days mid week while she's in growth spurts.
Welcome! I felt my first "flutter" at 17 weeks. My cat was lying on my stomach and I felt a twitch, but couldn't tell if it was her or me. Mine felt like a muscle spasm and they got more consistent at 20 ish weeks. Enjoy your NT test!
Edit: We told relatives after our u/s at 12 weeks, friends at 14 weeks and work at 18 weeks.
My BFP Chart
Welcome
I felt my first flutters at the end of 16 weeks.
Last night I felt my first BIG kicks and movement
It was so crazy and amazing at the same time! You have a lot to look forward to this semester: )
Welcome!
When you tell people is up to you; we told immediate family around 9 weeks, extended family around 12 weeks. Everyone else kind of just found out from there.
I felt my first movement around 17 weeks but couldn't be sure of what it was. We're now able to feel movement from the outside, which is the best thing ever.
You'll like 2nd tri
but I do have to say: If you think something is seriously wrong or something doesn't feel right, CALL YOUR DOCTOR. It drives me nuts when posters ask the board what's wrong with them- we (most of us) are not medical professionals!
