TTC After a Loss

Oldies interested in a check in?

Curious... do you 'oldies' want to do a TTC check in?

Those of us who have been here for I'd say... like 4+ months, and are currently NOT KTFU. (Our ranks are small, these days)

  • Isn't that the bitter bitches check in? Although, that requirement is 6months, not 4. But I'm game either way!

  • Well, I guess I am officially an oldie now.... sigh.  It's funny how all of those BFPs make me so incredibly happy for the women who get them and hopeful that I will get one too, but also just incredibly sad that I am not moving on.

My check in:  I'm fairly certain I haven't ovulated since my D&C in October, although only 100% sure for this cycle because it was my first charting.  I'm currently on cd45 with no end in sight.

After this cycle ends, my doc is doing bw on cd3, cd21 and cd25 to tests hormone levels, etc.  Depending on results, she is going to do a progesterone challenge on me (which is basically just giving me a bunch of progesterone to end my cycle and my doc says it often jumpstarts normal cycles again).  If that doesn't work, she is sending me back to my OB for clomid.

I am also doing acupuncture to help with whatever that does.  Also, DH and I are not drinking this week and, depending on how that goes, not drinking for a whole month.

Also, my acupuncturist doesn't want me to get ku in March so we are going to tta until then - but I seriously doubt this will be an issue because I'm not ovulating anyway.

That's about it.  Oh, and I'm home sick today.  This sucks.

    How is everyone else?

  • Do I qualify?  It's been almost 2 years since our loss, but we haven't been ttc for that amount of time.
