I love that sound

. The NP read me the results from my first U/S and she said oh there was a 2nd sack that looked to be degenerating. That makes me sad that it could have been twins and now it won't be. I go back next week for the NT scan. I had to get the bloodwork done afterwards. Do they really need to draw that much blood? Come on if you got my blood type and RH status a year ago I am pretty sure it's not going to change. So now I can tell the world.
Re: Heard the Heartbeat
That is great news! I can't believe there was a 2nd sac though...did they talk about why it was degenerating?
Have fun telling the world!
Are you going to find out what you are having?
Congrats again on everything. It's good news that the one looks good.
Enjoy telling people!
We don't know if we are going to find out. Part of me wants to since I hate suprises but another part wants to wait b/c we are only having 2 kids. So this will be my only opportunity to have a suprise baby

Yay for a healthy heartbeat. How strange that there had been a 2nd sac and they didn't tell you about it til now.. Wasn't your u/s like WEEKS ago?

Natalie Ruth - Born 6/13/11 7lb 6.6oz
nope no restrictions. i think it would explain the high beta #. We will know for sure next week at the NT scan. The NP wasn't concerned and kind of said it in a nonchalent kind of way.
Yay for a healthy heartbeat! I'm so excited for you
And sorry about the vanishing twin. It stinks, even if you didn't know you were having twins. I felt somewhat guilty for feeling sad about it when I have one perfectly healthy growing baby, but it still stings a little when people ask "Are you SURE its not twins!?!" because they think I am so big.
(((hugs))) let me know if you ever need to talk

Glad to hear about the healthy heartbeat.
Sorry about the second sac. I'm sure it's hard to think of the possibility that you may have lost a baby.
I had something similar happen when I was pg with Zoey, but like kac mentioned I think it was more of like a "mass" that ended up absorbing on its own. They said that it could have been a second sac, but they really couldn't tell.
