My 18 month old DS and I are going to visit a friend in Birmingham this weekend. What are some fun places (with play areas and such) that I could bring my toddler. Thanks!
I don't live in Birmingham so I don't have very many suggestions. Maybe some of the b'ham moms will come on and give you some good tips.
You could take your son to the McWane Science Center. On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. they have a special "Big Machines Day" event where they will have different construction equipment, trucks, that sort of thing for kids to explore. It's also a kids science museum with an IMax movie theatre. https://www.mcwane.org/general_information/hours_admission
I also saw a billboard the other day for this place in Birmingham, I Jump. The website says the equipment is appropriate for age 3 to 13, so your DS might be too young for this, unless you have other children. https://www.ijumpinc.com/
