Idea for a quick getaway?

Well, they pushed back our moving date by a few weeks, and DH is bummed. We talked about taking advantage of it and going to NYC for a couple nights, but he doesn't want to spend that much. Can you suggest anything else that might be a good trip idea for us to go just for a couple days with G before we leave NY? I thought if we didn't have to pay for airfare, too, he might go for it!

We are going to Cleveland in April (just the 2 of us) But I was looking online and there is lots to do for families too. I've heard it's a fun city. https://www.positivelycleveland.com/

Toronto is always a fave of mine too... I love it there. There is a lot to do, it's so clean and the people are really great.

I 2nd Toronto, if you have the enhanced license.

How about the finger lakes? You can rent a cottage with a fireplace and just relax as a family.

We have been to Toronto, but it was while we were still in college. (First time JenJar got drunk....good times!) Perhaps a trip back would be nice. Cleveland is a fun place to visit. We got there often. Both of us have college roommates that live there now, so we always stop to see them when we drive home. (I'll miss that when we're in Arkansas!) I was thinking about the Finger Lakes. Any more suggestions? Any thoughts on where to stay if we head to the Finger Lakes?

You could do Ithaca or Corning. The Corning Glass Museum is great, and they have a cute downtown with shops and restaurants. Ithaca has a science museum, and they also have a cute downtown.
