So I was loving it because the first month after having Ryleigh I had lost 32 pounds which put me 10 pounds lower than I was before getting pregnant. Super awesome! Well now I have put 5 of those pounds back on and need the scale to go the other way. I would like to lose about 15-20 pounds now and take advantage of the extra calories burning while BFing to help me get to my ideal size. Problem is I feel hungry about all the time and the snacks etc I have with me at work are healthy (kashi bars, carrots, ff pudding) but I think I am eating too much because I feel so hungry. I especially feel hugry after pumping or nursing her at home.
So what is working for you all? Counting calories? If so how many are you eating etc. I want to lose weight but not lose my milk supply.

Re: Dieting while breastfeeding---what works?
I would add some more protein to your daily diet to help you feel full longer and give you some more energy.
You can't really "diet" while bf'ing but you can eat nutritiously and excersize.
My baby is two!!! Baby girl 9/17/09
My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
I agree with adding more protein into your diet. It will help you feel full for longer periods of time.
Don't try to diet while BF though. You need extra calories for you and LO. Just eat healthy but make sure you are getting enough nutrition!
I agree! Just add in exercise to help you get in shape but actively trying to diet is probably not a good idea.
