i dropped mine a few months back. it wasn't worth the money for what i was getting. now i have DH take DS out for a few hours so i can be the maid. [:( ]
I went through two maids because of this. The ones I have now are great. They usually are at first then I start pointing out things they are missing. On the other hand, no one can clean my house like I do. I just do not have time. : (
lol, I am the maid at our house. I just don't get paid.
LOL! So true in my house. I am the maid too but at least DH is understanding because I work and he goes to school and our house will never be completely clean all at once.

I wish DH and I had the time to clean like we used to. We've had ours for almost 3 years now. I have to ask her to do specific things, like clean under the bed. I kind of choose one area I want deep cleaned each time and ask her to focus more attention there.
Ah, slumming it like the rest of us Good luck on your search.

I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW! But on a postive note, I am trying to be more organized. I don't know how long we will last..........
I'm fighting the same organizational struggle (hard as I am an innate slob) and that's our resolution for this year too. It's a constant battle. Keep up the good fight!
We were *thisclose* to getting a regular service and decided last night we just can't justify it. I wanted to cry, but I do feel like it's the right decision.
They did do an AMAZING job though. I couldn't even believe how clean and wonderful my house was. They even vacuumed under our couch cushions. Which I've done... never? maybe 3 years ago? yikes.

Boo!
Now that I'm back FT, a maid is the first thing on my to-do list.
