Our baby girls are here!

Olivia Ayers and Claire Elizabeth arrived via scheduled c-section on Feb 9th at 1:26 and 1:29 pm.  Olivia weighed 5 lbs 11 oz and Claire was 5 lbs 13 oz.  They are the most beautiful and amazing babies I've ever seen, completely being unbiased of course.  We stayed in the hospital for five days, and I had lots of help learning to nurse my two angels.  It was hard work, and I ended up crying several times, but we are here at home and still going strong!  Had our one week appt today and the girls are both only an ounce below their birth weight, so everyone is gaining great weight, and very healthy.  I can't stop staring at them, so sleep is a distant memory.  It's very worth it and I can't get over how lucky I am I get to be these girls mother.

    Congratulations on your two beautiful girls! I love their names, and glad BFing is going well. Good for you for pushing through the hardest part! Enjoy those babies. :) Hope you have some help so you're able to get a little sleep here and there!

    Congrats!  The girls are so cute. GL with BFing too!  I am sure it is hard but it is well worth all the extra work I am sure.  I too am going to do my best to BF.  You had me in tears when you said about being blessed being their mommy (i'm sure it's the hormones).  THey are blessed to have you.
