i feel like i need a cape behind me blowing in the wind when i wear these carriers! some of y'all may have seen these pics i posted on facebook, but i wanted to post it here for those who want to wear both babies at once.
instructions are below the pics!

Here?s how I did it!
The black carriers are Infantino carriers from WalMart ($15).
I put each carrier on one arm, both straps over one shoulder.
For the carrier on your left side, tighten the left waist strap
and loosen the right one a good bit. Do the opposite on the
other carrier - tighten the right strap and loosen the left one.
The straps on the outside of your body are the ones you will
connect to the same carrier - once they are connected, pull them
tight. The inner waist straps (the ones closest to you) will be
the ones that overlap in the back. Bring both of them around
your back and clip them to the opposite carrier, then tighten.
The white carriers are Baby Bjorn Air carriers, and I got them
for around $30 each on eBay. Put one carrier on the normal way,
like you are only carrying one baby. Loosen the bottom straps
and pull it over to your left side, over your left breast.
Slide the other carrier?s right strap onto your right shoulder,
and loosen up the left strap a good bit. This strap you?ll put
over your left shoulder, but cross it underneath the first
carrier and clip it like you normally would. This takes a little
adjusting, but it is much more comfortable because the straps
are padded a bit more than the Infantino carriers.
Hope this helps y?all out!
Re: AW: supermom - wearing both babies
the infantino carriers aren't overlapping, they are side by side. the baby bjorns have one overlapping strap each.
in the infantino ones, about an hour. the bjorns i've worn for two and a half hours straight with no problems - the straps are more padded. my babes are still pretty small though, 10.5 lbs and 9.5 lbs.
Impressive!! I sent you a PM
Thanks
Wow, good work!
Whenever I've worn both at once, i wore one on the front and one on the back. I never tried it when they were that small and light though (they both gained weight super fast the first 3 months; both shot up from about the 15th to the 90th percentile in the first 3 months!)
Here's how I did it if any of you all want other ideas; this is with an Ergo and a Moby. The boys weighed about 19 lbs and 21 lbs, respectively, in this pic:
I love it!! You are superMom with 2 on at the same time. I had a Bjorn carrier long ago and it was very comfortable. I hope I can master that with 2 carriers.
way to go!
