Just curious who has delivered (or will be) at United in St. Paul? And anyone go to Parkview OB/GYN in St. Paul? That's where I'm going, since the hospital is close to our house...like the clinic so far, the people seem nice. Anyway, just curious if anyone has any experiences to share?

Re: Aaand a question: United hospital and/or Parkview OB/GYN?
I delivered at United.
I had issues with my doctors, but that had nothing to do with the hospital, just the practice that I chose.
The hospital was wonderful. The nursing staff was amazing. The two rooms that I was in were very nice (I would have stayed in just the one room, but I ended up with a c/s).
I would definitely recommend it. I don't have any experience with Parkview.

I went to Parkview St. Paul during my pregnancy (saw Dr Miller) and loved it - and love her! I ended up with a few issues so saw quite a few other doctors if Dr Miller wasn't available, and I was pleased with almost all of them.
I delivered at United and had an amazing experience, two other Parkview doctors delivered (unplanned c-section) and I can't say enough good things about them.
My DS had major complications at birth which were a complete shock (stroke, stopped breathing, bleeding on the brain) and if we hadn't been at United with a top tier NICU right there (Childrens), I don't think he would have survived.
All of my nurses and doctors at United were incredible, I've never felt so cared for. I was there for 5 days and then they let me "board" (basically keep my room but no longer a patient, so no nurses or room service or maid service) for an extra week so I was closer to my son at the NICU.
I can't recommend Parkview and United highly enough! Great choice!!
