Daycare options are driving me crazy...

Hi ladies! I am really struggling to pick a daycare.  I live in Lake Oswego by West Linn and cannot seem to find very many options.  We are willing to consider different options but need something that is full-time.  I really appreciate any tips, recommendations or advice this is starting to drive me crazy but I feel it is important we are comfortable with whatever option we choose. Thanks in advanced!

    Hi!

    We used to use a center, can I say which one on here Zip it!, and we liked it.  Tuition costs went up pretty high though, so it was not worth it for us to be there 3 days a week.

    I scoured craigslist for in-home care, and found someone by where I work in Oregon City, but there isn't much that I have found, advertised at least, in West Linn.  Lake Oswego is out of my way so I am not sure what is there.

    I live in West Linn off Willamette Dr/Hwy 43 (I am not actually sure which it is called my my house!)

    Maybe this isn't helpful - but I would 100% recommend the center we used, just not the cost Crying

    Hi!  I put my DD into a center and hated it after just 5 weeks there, we pulled her out.  We were going to get a nanny, and while interviewing sveral nannys, came across a wonderful in-home daycare.  We put DD there and are SO happy with our decision.  We love our daycare provider, couldn't be happier.

    Also, I found her on craigslist.  If you can read through the crazies, there are several good people on there!

    Have you checked childcareratingz.com? People leave reviews there. We found an in-home daycare through a google search. They're close to our hose, the kids love it there, the price is right, and the daycare is licensed by the state.

    Thanks ladies for your advice so far.  I have checked craigslist and childcareratingz but have not had any luck yet.  I think that it is just hard to find a provider by us.  I will keep looking at craigslist for in-home options.  We have visited two already but we really didn't feel comfortable at either.  Mrsduck I would love it if you would send me the name of the center  you used via PM or email.  It would be nice to at least have an option.  Thanks again ladies.
