Pregnant after a Loss

Today was not fun...

Teachers, you'll appreciate this one...I had my first experience with throwing up in front of my class.  Man, it was awful!  It hit like a wave at the worst possible time, and I couldn't do anything but ask a kid to grab me a trash can so I could puke in it.  I kinda warned them it was coming, but those poor kids!  Their reactions were priceless...they were so concerned!  Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks!  A very crafty lady on the Sept birth month board made it :)

They were so sympathetic...it really was sweet.  I think they were just shocked into submission and they weren't sure what to do.  It was kinda funny, actually, now that it's not happening!  One little boy, Ricardo, went to go grab me a box of tissues when I was just about done.  If only he could train DH :)

Hahaha, I seriously didn't even think of that!  The first thing they did was run and tell all their friends at recess, so of course I'm sure they'll go home and tell their parents!  Maybe since it was in the morning, they'll have forgotten by the end of the day?? Hmm...

I teach 3rd.  Still young enough to not freak out too much if their teacher is throwing up in front of them :)  I can't imagine what it would've been like if I taught an older grade!

  • Aww.  I'm sorry, that would be rough.  I'm fortunate to be working from home right now, which makes it easier to deal with the pregnancy symptoms.
