Dumb question -- skin stretching

Hi ladies,

I am having a consistent stretching pain to the right of my belly button (probably from the edge of my belly button over an inch or so). It feels more like it's in my skin than my insides, though. It has been on and off for a week or so. Is this weird?

    How far along are you? I don't think its weird I get it too. Sometimes my skin feels like its gonna stretch off.

    I've had this, in a different spot, but the same consistent spot, for about 3 weeks now. My dr. said it's normal, though it hurts so much it worries me.

    I have not had that pain but I just wanted to say of you suspect that it is the skin it is never too soon to start applying cocoa buter lotion to your tummy :O)
