Did you have to redo your ultrasound?

We just got back from the follow-up from our 20 week ultrasound, and most news was positive!  However, the doctor said they couldn't see the left side of her heart, so she ordered another ultrasound in 2 weeks.  I know I am just paranoid, but if something was actually wrong, she would tell me that, right?  Logically, I know her position was just bad, and the ultrasound couldn't pick up the other side of her heart, but I need some reassurance!!

Also, those of you who responded to my itchy rash last night, you were right...it's PUPPS, and it's not going away until delivery - awesome!!  I also have a fibroid, but my doctor said that's nothing to worry about.

    At mine they couldn't get three views of the heart nor the diaphram.  My dr wasn't worried at all, but I'm scheduled for another u/s before my 24 week appt. just to check.

    I had a similiar issue - the baby was in a funky position and wouldn't show the goods (and we wanted to know) and they couldn't get all the measurements for the heart.  They told me everything looked good and not to worry, they just like to have all the measurements.  Only good thing is that I get to go back on Thursday for another one!  In mine the baby was kicking too much that she couldn't get accurate readings - the heartbeat and everything else was good though.

    I'm going through a similar situation and feel your worry! We're going in on Thursday for a follow up ultrasound because they couldn't see the kidneys clearly 3 weeks ago. Of course in my head, I keep thinking the doctors saw something wrong and didn't want to tell me until they could look into it further. But doctors don't lie :) They've told me some other scary stuff over the past few weeks (different situation causing bedrest) so I know in my head that it's just a precaution. I think today they want to know EVERYTHING they can in advance so it's just covering all the bases. Keep telling yourself that :)

    We have to go back for the same reason.  I'm not too worried about it.  My doctor actually said "now...don't leave here all nervous.  I just couldn't see!"  I am a worry wart & he knows that.  He also told me when we were TTC that I seemed a little tense & I may want to start having a glass of wine at night.

    At 18 weeks my baby's heart was too tiny to see clear enough so I had to go back at 21 weeks, when we got the all clear :) If something was wrong, they would tell you.
