Babies R Us trade in event

Has anyone done that trade in at Babies R Us? I have this horrible Kolcraft lightweight stroller from a garage sale and it looks like I could turn it in for 25% off a new stroller. I want a fully reclining lightweight so that he can hopefully nap in it on vacation. I just wanted to see if there were any "catches" that weren't on the website.

    My parents just did it this week. I finally convinced them to trade in one of their ancient carseats for a 3-in-1 so they can use it with any of the small grandkids. As far as I know there were no hitches.

    ETA: Sorry it was so huge before. My cat was climbing all over me as I was typing, and I gues I hit the enter button way too many times.Embarrassed

    You have to buy the new stroller that day.  You don't get to keep the voucher until you wantto use it.

    I also am pretty sure you can't use it with another coupon.. but I guess it would still be better than a 20% off coupon.

    I did the trade in this week with a car seat we had that didn't "pass" inspection, so we were not going to use it anyway.

    MelissaSue was right...you can't use the 20% off coupon as well, and pp was right as well, you have to use it that day, you can't go back and get something another day.

    It really was a great deal, I posted before how I hated our 3 in 1 and I got a $250 system after discounts, I had a GC and some returns for $50!
