Hmm... July or August?

So, my due date is July 31st. This means I could deliver in July OR August. My Dr. kept the calculated due date (from LMP) rather than my u/s due date because I delivered DS closer to LMP due date than u/s due date. I was still four days late from LMP date.

So, I'm in delivery month limbo. I didn't realize it until now. Not that it matters, but what are the odds your due date is the 1st or last day of the month?

Mines June 30. So it could be June or July for me.

Thats what Im going through. Im due Aug. 1 and they did it based off the u/s, they guess-timated the first week of August because I honestly didnt know when my LMP started or ended..I had to give a ballpark

I'm July 27th and I still feel like I very well will deliver in early August. When you're talking about a few days here or there, it's barely even considered later or early!

Part of me hopes that I go out early August so that my health insurance goes a whole extra month automatically (in case I end up on "unpaid" status by the end).

Hmmm.. I would choose the earlier date since you went early with your son, but come join us on the August board anyway, we rock!

I was due July 31st with DS. He was born July 18th

My birthday is August 9th, so I was convinced that he'd be late and we'd share a birthday. Then my doctor said I would be induced on August 8th at the latest (8.8.08) but he came early, thankfully!!!

Well, technically I was induced at 38w b/c of pre-e and his size (9.5lbs born 2 weeks early.)

My doctor confuses the crap out of me. My calculated due date is August 4 but my u/s due date is July 29. Every time I go in he tells me one or the other. I'm not sure when mine is. I think that means I get to choose. LOL! I'm hoping for a July baby since my parent's anniversary is right around that time. LOL!!

Me too! According to my O date, I charted, my EDD is Aug. 4th but according to ultrasounds, he is measuring a week and a half ahead of schedule. I just feel like I'll have him at the end of July, not the beginning of Aug.

Mines Aug 1. And I really dont think i'll have the baby that late. I just have a really strong feeling it will be in july. (or maybe thats wishful hoping!!)

I'm in the same boat and was just talking about it with DH and friends. Due 7/28 but doc pretty much told me that it'll probably be later since the first ones like to stay in for a little bit longer. Also funny is that my FIL b'day is the 31st. I guess I'm still acting like July--go to that month board, never really the August one etc.
