When did y'all have your baby showers? My friends want to go ahead and get a few potential dates. I'm due August 12, so we're anticipating the twins arriving sometime in July. I don't want to wait too late and be really uncomfortable. So I was just curious what others arranged. TIA!

I'm curious what answers you get because I too have been wondering the same thing. I'm due August 24th so I'm anticipating the twins to be born in early to mid August. I also don't want to wait to late and be uncomfortable so I was thinking a shower in June would be good but wasn't sure if that was way to soon.

I had mine at 30.5 weeks. I was already quite uncomfortable, but I still had a nice time.

I am having mine on Feb27th, ill be 33 weeks and 3 days, I wanted it earlier but it was a battle with my mom so I decided to suck it up. The doctors feel ill have them at 35 weeks so im totally not looking forward to the rushing around after the shower. I would say antime between 25 and 30 weeks.

I would try to do it by 28w so you're less likely to be on bedrest by then, and you'll most likely still have enough time to get everything set up, finish your shopping, etc. Two different showers were thrown for me; one at 26w and one at 29w. It worked out well.

I am having one at 28 weeks, like the PP said, i didn't want to run the risk of having to be put on bedrest. Especially because my shower is 5 hours from where i am living now!

I have one at 30 weeks. I wanted it earlier but my sister who is throwing it just started a new job and thats her first weekend off. Then I found out yesterday my SIL id throwing me a "surprise" shower next month. I hope I am not too miserable.

I was 28 weeks, it worked out well. Remember that you'll need time to wash a lot of baby clothes, blankets, towels, bedding, etc. afterwards, tougher if you're huge and certainly if you're on bed rest!

I had my first at 22 weeks, will have another at 28 weeks and the last at 32 weeks.

mine were at 30 and 32 weeks. i wouldnt recommend going past 30! enjoy:)

I had mine at 28 weeks (two Saturdays ago) and am glad we didn't wait any longer. I've been washing clothes and blankets, organizing everything else, making returns/exchanges, and buying the essentials that are left over ever since. Plus, I don't think I'd want to have been any bigger as the center of attention and with so much to do. The earlier the better, for sure.

My twins are due on 6/22, however the doc thinks they will be here end of May/beginning of June. I was thinking of having the shower first week of May. Doctor advised me to have it a bit earlier since it will be in a different state (drive time 5 hours away). So we're having it mid April. This way I won't be feeling too uncomfortable and it won't be too rushed (trying to get swings, bouncy seats, etc put together).

There's always a possiblity of bed rest too... so it just made sense to me to have it a bit earlier.

I'm having mine at 27 weeks. I'm 25.5 weeks right now and I couldnt imagine having one too much later. I'm already getting uncomfortable!
