Pregnant after a Loss

What are you washing LO's clothes/blankets in?

Dh and I were just going to use the Costco "free" brand that we already use.  it is for sensitive skin (DH needs that) but then when my mom gave us a bunch of receiving blankets this weekend that she had prewashed DH about fell over in love with the smell.

We hurried out and bought Dreft and the original Downey softener (for the blankets) and I will be washing all of Elise's clothes in this.

DH is honestly obsessed with the "baby smell" of these two products and if I dont hide it he may start doing his own laundry in this.  (For the record, if he wants to start doing his own laundry he can wash it in whatever he wants... but he doesn't do the laundry)

  • I plan to use Dreft for the first few weeks, then go to our regular detergent--Purex Free.

  • Dreft.

I really do love the scent.  Even DH sneaks it into his laundry sometimes just bc it smells so darn good.

  • DS was allergic to the scent in Dreft so I use a free and clear for all our clothes. He breaks out in a rash if I wash our clothes in scented detergent just from rubbing against them when we cuddle. I will keep doing this for #2. I actually had to be the mom that refused to let anyone hold DS unless they made sure to cover up with one of his blankets to make sure he didn't come into contact with others clothing or lotions so he wouldn't break out. I'll probably continue to be that mom with this LO.
