That just made me feel horrible!

I finally made an appt yesterday to talk to my Dr.  I finally admitted to myself that I have PPD and need help.  I have really deep down known this for about 2 months now, but thought that I could work my way through it.  Well, she wouldn't even talk to me about it.  She was pretty much telling me that it can't happen this late.  I was also there for my sinuses and ears - and nothing was wrong with them either!  However, she put me on heavy doses of antibiotics and steriods.  But NOTHING is wrong with me!!!  Sorry, off topic here.  I'm just so pissed and so hurt!  I finally got up the gumption to finally talk to someone about this after keeping it in for so long and I had it thrown back in my face!  GRRRRR!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!

    From the way this is written it sounds like this is your general practitioner that you are talking about, correct? Call your OB. PPD can pop up any time in the first year. For a doctor to tell you otherwise is shocking and disappointing. Good luck to you.
