NBR : anyone have a boss they want to punch out?

There are two partners at the CPA firm I work for, they happen to be brothers, one is 15 years older then the other.  The older one is awesome, the younger one I can't even stand.  He is so freaking arrogant, does not like to be bothered with anything, will leave in the middle of the day for an hour and a half to hit the gym and it's tax season for god sake and he doesn't realize there are other people in the office demanding for me to do things so maybe sometimes his request will NOT be number one on my priority list so Oh MY GOD he may have to wait an extra five minutes!!!!!

    I'm sorry your job stinks right now Erica.  I hope it gets better or that you find something new.  Life is too short to have such a big part of the day suck!

    He's extra special, LOL..............I will just hide out in my office until I have to deal with him again..........hoping it's a long enough period of time that i can at least put a smile, albeit a fake one, on my face!

    I am in no way trying to compete with your story...but how's this for a boss situation:

     

    When I miscarried, my boss was a week and a half from her due date. She was completely unsympathetic and gave me a guilt trip for missing any work. The day I returned back to work was the day she went on maternity leave.

    I would not have been there when she came back from Maternity leave!!!!!  After my whole situation, I have to say they were good about me being out to recover from my surgery and have never given me a hard time about any dr appts/trips to the lab.   Sounds like your boss was more worried about herself then you and when a boss does not care about their employee, ESPECIALLY during the loss of your child, they are not someone I'd want to work for!!!!

    I agree...I had a VERY HARD time with coming back to work, but luckily she isn't here and won't be until close to the end of April. I also had a few minutes there where I seriously pondered quitting my job, but I felt like that would have been impulsive and irrational. But it was tempting! So now she is on maternity leave with her happy and healthy baby boy (and I'm glad she is), and I'm back here STRESS FREE for a couple months. It just goes to show you that people can't relate.
