Graco Twin IPO Stroller or other sbs stroller?

We've been using the Graco Quattro tour and now that my girls are 17 mos, whoever rides in the back is usually pretty unhappy.  So now I'm looking for a side by side.   I'm looking for something just for shopping/going out b/c we use their waggon when going out for walks.  I'd like to stay under $200 if possible.  I was looking at the Graco Twin IPO or even the Jeep sbs.  Any recommendations?

Thank you,

Jennifer

  • A lot of people like the Combi Twin Sport (EX?). I saw it on sale on albeebaby.com for under $200.

We did test-drive the Graco Ipo Twin. I really wanted to like it since it seemed to have a lot of good features for the price, but I found the handles uncomfortable; my hands got sore just from test-driving it at BRU! They were already sore from lugging the Snugrides around though so I don't know; maybe it was just me but I would test-drive it.

We do also have a Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport that we got for free from Kolcraft through their multiples program (I have an entry on that in my blog; link in siggy). It's fine but I wouldn't want it as my primary stroller; almost no storage and the sunshades are pretty useless. 3-point harness. Steers OK, not great.

  • Oh, you might also want to look into the Inglesina Twin Swift if they still make them. It got good reviews in Baby Bargains two years ago but they company didn't do well in the US since they did not also make car seats, and most stroller companies get a lot of their business from travel systems. B/c they were being discontinued I found them fairly cheap when I was stroller-shopping last May and seriously considered them. (We ended up with the City Mini instead.)
