HSV girls - first hair cuts???

Where did you go to get your LO's first hair cut?  where do you go on a regular basis?  Avery's hair is a mess - it's  too fine to do anything with but it's all stringy and long - I need to get her trimmed up. 

 is there another kids type salon other than the spoile rockin place?  it sounds cute but I DESPISE the name - it just gives me the shivers - I guess it's the "spoiled" part that really bothers me (I know it shouldn't).

 Any other ideas???

    We gave Caleb his first 2 haircuts at home...just a little trim.  I have taken him to the Spoiled Rockin Kid's Salon and (despite the name) it is a really cute place for their age.  Especially for the first cut, they make a big deal out of it...not sure what all they do, but I'm pretty sure there is a picture and certificate involved.  They get to sit in cool car chairs or airplanes and there is a TV at each station.  They will also do temporary tatoos or hair ink at the end.  Pretty cool place, really.  Other than that, I don't know of any actual Kid's salons, but I have taken him to Salon Hampton (in Hampton Cove) and Trade Secret at the mall.  I've also taken him to one of those cheapy places like Cost Cutters, but I regretted it.

    We go to Alice at Salon 8 (next door to a Nurturing Moment) she does a fantastic job. We haven't cut Jake's hair yet but when we do thats where we are going to take him
