I find it hard to get as interested in the figure skating with the 'new' scoring system. I miss the drama of seeing a 6.0 or being able to predict which judge is going to score high or low.
Having said that, tonight's figure skating is very watchable.

I skated under the old system. While this one is interesting. It's really gotten away from the spectator-as-judge sort of thing. YOu have to look up their points values ahead of time (you can) and figure it out.
It gives athletes more opportunity to move in the standings. Ie) an athlete who bombs the short can come back big with the long.
But it gives judges COMPLETE anonymity which was, the stupidest thing ever to have happen in the sport.
