1. What size does your LO wear and how old are they?
2. What kind of shoes do you buy? I am looking for a sneaker type shoe that has a flexible sole and is not tacky. My LO doesn't walk yet and I need protection for his feet when we are out or at the babysitter's- at home he is in bare feet or slipper socks.
Re: shoe questions....
1) Ds is between a 4 and a 5
2) Have you tried Robeez? That's what DS used before he was really walking, now we use Stride Rite sneakers, or he has a pair of Target brand sandals he really likes.

At your LO's age she wasn't walking yet so I had her in Robeez. They are really cute and easy to get on and off. When she started walking I bought her a pair of Stride Rite sandals and they were a size 5 (14 months).
At 16 months she was in a size 5.5 and now she's in size 6.5.
I bought her a pair of keens that are really cute but not really too flexible.
1.) 17 months, size 6
2.) When DS started walking, we had Robeez for him, but only b/c I found them at Ross for $10. I really liked them though and I think they are worth the money, even if you pay full price. Right now, DS is in a fisher-price shoe from Kmart. I really like those too b/c they are more on the flexible side compared to the last pair of sneakers I bought him.
1) 13 months, size 5-5.5 (12-18 months)
2) Pedipeds or See Kai Run. We get compliments all the time. DS is walking at this point. The soles are a thicker, stiffer leather than Robeez and are holding up well. The fasteners are velcro. My cut-off for a pair is about $20 which you can find when there's a sale online.
