  I heard on the Today show that she's actually in the middle of an IVF cycle right now, and that's part of the reason she wasn't at the opening ceremony, but she might be at the Closing ceremonies.

  Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
  DH: perfect
  1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
  2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

  I had a feeling thats why she wasn't there. I also keep wondering how with her schedule she fits in IVF? I mean, I am scared I will have to go away for a weekend or something for some reason, no less tour the world...

  I was wondering why she wasn't at the opening ceremonies. she's got to be one of the biggest stars to come out of Canada.

  No kidding that is what I was thinking!

  I was never a fan of hers. But when I heard of her struggles...I deemed her my IF sister. 

  TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!

  I give her so much credit for being open about her IVF.  I hope this is her cycle.

  TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows?
