Going back to work next week and actually excited!

I've loved staying home with my two kids (DS is 21 months and DD is 3.5 months) but I'm actually getting excited to go back to work.  Right now, I'm basically a single mother.  DH works 18+ hour days - he comes home once the kids are in bed and leaves before they wake up.  However, his hours will change after this weekend - he'll actually be home by 5!

I can't tell if I'm excited to be around adults all day or with the fact that he'll be home to help out!  I feel a bit guilty, though.  I was so sad to leave DS to go back to work but I'm so excited to go back this time around!

Anyone else in the same boat?

    I try not to think about the fact that I have to work and just pray that someday DH will have a job that can support the whole family and I can stay home.  I HATE being a working mom.  The only thing that keeps me sane is the fact that I don't work Fridays and that my mom watches Will and we don't have to put him in a day care center.

    I am not going back this time, but I was very happy to go back the first time around.  I am still sort of conflicted...I will go back in a year or so.

    Returning to work brought a much needed sense of calmness to the beautiful chaos DD gave us.  I don't think I am cut out to be a SAHM.
