We have been 'unofficially' working with the realtor who helped us buy our current home (unofficial as in we haven't listed yet, we've only had email exchanges thus far).
Our previous plan was to sell and buy. But we've decided to just sell for now, rent for 1 year, then start looking and buy... we really need to move into my DD's school district before the next school year but it's $$$$ and we'd like a little more time to put together a larger down payment, closer to 20%.
Also both DH and I just can't wrap our heads around timing a sale and a purchase at the same time so we're just not going to mess with it.
Aaaaanyway.... I think our realtor is mad that we are only selling now and not purchasing as well.... which seems weird b/c isn't the sale of our current home that would make her the most $?
Oh well, we're going to have an honest conversation with her about what's going on with her... but I have a feeling this just isn't going to work out.
So, anyone have a good NKY realtor they can reco? We're selling in Taylor Mill.

My BIL is a realtor w/ Sibcy Cline, John Livingston--He is Great! (and I'm not just saying that as a biased family member lol) He is honest, probably one of the hardest working people I know and he knows Nky really well! He helped us buy our house, has helped numerous other friends buy/sell and he actually just helped my SIL sell her house in Bellevue--she sold it in like 8 days and got almost 100% their asking price!

MICAH PRESTON! He went to your daughters new school district for school. I am pretty sure there is some type of secret code somewhere saying you have to use him now! HA! Anway he is with Reality Executives. He helped us buy our first house, sell it, then buy this one. He seriously took us to see minimum 50 houses on our house hunt, he is amazing, and patient!

She sold our place and helped us find our new home. She works 24 hours a day. We would get e-mails from her at 3:00 a.m. I'd suggest calling her cell. She'll talk your arm off! She's absolutely fantastic.

A really good family friend out my DH's family is a realtor with Huff Realty. His name is Bill Detzel and his number is 442-4311.
We will be going with him if we can't sell by owner. He is very sweet and personable. He is based at the Highland Heights location but works all over.
