Follow- up to WWYD re: crib

So after I started thinking about the whole crib recalls again I couldn't resist coming out to the garage and unpackaging our crib to check and see if it had been recalled. I'm SO glad I did! Not only was it recalled, but it was recalled because slats could break causing entrapment. I have now started the process to get a voucher for a brand new crib! Guess I won't be getting the one I really like at IKEA, but now I won't be worried about LO's safety in the crib!

    I am so excited for a new crib, but also a little concerned by the fact that DS spent a year and a half sleeping in an unsafe crib. I'm so glad in retrospect that he wasn't hurt!
