Ladies I just need to make sure I'm going about this the right way.
Friday I picked up DS and noticed one of the infants (4 months maybe) was in the swing with a boppy on her. I asked the 'new girl' (older woman w/ some language barrier) about it and she said that she puts the bottle on it so she can work with the other babies while that baby eats. I about flipped out on her! Instead I said 'Oh, so she can hold the bottle by herself then'. The woman totally missed where I was going with it.
Anyway, the lead teacher wasn't there at the time and I want to talk to her before going to the director. Do I call her today (the other woman doesn't get in till noon) or do I wait to talk to her this evening at pick up (and ask her to step out of the room to chat). I seriously love everyone at his daycare except this woman, I just have always had an 'eh' vibe with her. The lead teacher and I have a great relationship but she needs to get this woman in check with safety issues!
So, phone call or face to face?
Re: Bottle propper at daycare
My baby is two!!! Baby girl 9/17/09
My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
Face to face at pick up. Keep in mind you don't know what that child's parents asked for. Maybe they want their kid to learn to hold his own bottle. I have actually heard that before - so you never know. But go with your gut and tell the lead teacher when you see her.
My ass would be on the phone with the director.
Or face-to-face at pick up.
