how long should I expect to wait for an initial consultation appointment?

My OB is not holding out hope that our current iui plus clomid plan is working so she suggested I think about seeing Dr. Vaughn. DH and I obviously have a lot to think about before we go there (mainly how far will we go with this) but should I go ahead and "get on the list" in the mean time?

I think average wait time is 2-3 months. I got a cancellation appointment and was seen the week after I called.

we didn't wait long at all...maybe a few weeks. but if you are worried about it, just book it, then move it if you have to.

I think a month or two. I would set up an appointment and them cancel I'd you need to. I love dr Vaughn!!!

I waited two months. I made my appt when we were still doing Clomid IUIs with the OB because we didn't think they would work. I knew I could always cancel if we didn't need it. We also love Dr. V!

We were offered one three weeks out but dh was going to be in orders and not able to make it. Dr V said he would do earlier if we promised to be ontime and not upset if he was late as it was his surgery day. I wiuld call and get something set up.

thanks! Glad I called.... we're scheduled for a month and half from now. Guess we'll know if this iui took by then. :-)

I appreciate the good things about Dr. Vaugn too... I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him.
