iPhoto on Macbook, help!

So I used iPhoto to upload my digital pictures for the first time.  Well I went through and edited some of them w/ crop, red eye, and enhance.  Well, how the heck do you undo a "fix"??  Once its done I can't figure out how to undo it and in one of the photos DD looks like she has a black eye from me trying to remove the red eye.  Is there a button or something I can click??  TIA!!

Re: iPhoto on Macbook, help!

  • I'm at work so I can't really "help" you right now but I am pretty certain when I make changes it keeps both images.  I can text you later when I get home for sure.
  • Loading the player...
  • if you save it as an edited photo then you can just go back to the original.  if you replaced the edited version with the original then you will have to re-upload it from your camera.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • At the top of the laptop theres that bar, file, edit, view, etc... well when you're working on a picture and over edit go to the edit one and it should say undo- whatever you just did...red eye, auto correct...
  • I think if you just hit the "original" button in the middle of the photo, it will start over.  I also think it saves both versions (one will have a "2" after it in your folder.)

  • I think I found it, but I will have to reload the pics b/c it saved the fix over the original.  I keep forgetting about that top toolbar that is applicable to whichever program you're using.  Gah, this MacBook takes some getting used to since I've been using Dell for 10+ years.  :)

    Thanks ladies!!

  • Highlight the photo in question, go up to the "Photo" pull-down in the top left part of your screen and under that, select "Revert to Original." No need to re-upload at all!
