Hyland Teething Tablet Question

I bought some to try with DD-is it really necessary to get them under the tongue? I can't imagine doing that with a 7mo old!

How well would you say they work at night-should I try them or just stick with Motrin?

Re: Hyland Teething Tablet Question

  • I thought you were supposed to dissolve them in water? That's what I did and then used a little syringe to put over his gums. That never did the trick for Evan, only motrin has ever worked. But we would just wait to see if he woke up and would give it to him then.

ETA: you know...I think I'm thinking of a different product that had little pellets, not really a tablet. I can't remember what it was called even. Oops!

  • I stuck one under his tongue, it melted REALLY fast!

You can do either, dissolve in water or stick under tongue. We just got them, I am not sure how well they work. I am sticking with Motrin at night, at least until I know how well they work!

  • I just put it in Eva's mouth when she was that little- I never bothered trying to get it under her tongue.

  • When Eve was littler I tried to get them under her tongue so they would dissolve and she wouldn't choke on it or swallow it whole.. Now that she is bigger, she basically chews them.

  • I just got it in his mouth.  I think the first time we dissolved it in water b/c I was scared of him choking.
