Allow me to brag: I had the best V-Day ever.

I know I complain about my H a lot on here. LOTS. B/c usually, he's completely clueless about women and thinks of nothing but himself and his needs, which is not good.

Friday night, we had a nice dinner with friends and saw Jim Gaffigan's show. Hilarious. Saturday morning, I got to sleep in while he made the coffee and left to go to his parents' and pick up Ian. Later, we met up at my folks' house and visited. He left to go to Home Depot and get new ballasts for my kitchen light fixture (would rather have had all new fixture, but this is not the "forever" house). We met up at the house just as Ian was finishing his dinner, he gave Ian his bath and we watched Community on DVR after he went to bed.

This morning, I got to sleep in AGAIN! Well until Ian squealed with delight smearing applesauce all over the high chair tray and feeding Cheerios to Merle (dog). Woke up to coffee already made AGAIN, and a CLEAN KITCHEN, then got to hang out and shop with my friend, and spent my b-day gift card at Williams Sonoma - I got a tart pan, 2 knife sharpeners, new colanders and a wine aerator. Also they had red velvet cupcakes and Illy coffee for sampling - 2 of my favorites! And I got a cute cardi at Anthropologie!

I came home to a baby that had been fed, and then we all rode bikes until a front started blowing in. I made lasagna from scratch and it's in the oven now w/ 15mins left. And the wine that's been through my aerator is super delish. And I'm off tomorrow! YAY! I am so happy.
