So the dog just ate DS's #2 diaper...ugh.

Earlier this afternoon, DS had a doozy of a diaper.  Rather than stink up the garbage in the kitchen, I had the brilliant idea (I swear I've done it before with no issues) of putting his diaper in a bag and leaving it outside our back door.  I had planned on then throwing it away in a garbage bin that we share with other neighbors in a back alley.

Well we have 3 dogs and only the Basset Hound is known for behavioral issues.  She got locked in our kitchen and, unbeknownst to me, went out the doggie door and proceeded to tear through the cotton batting of the diaper and basically consume what was inside.  I'm assuming she ate the cotton and she gets to now sleep in the kitchen tonight as I don't want her vomiting throughout the house if it should reappear.

Seriously, DH is out of state for a job interview tomorrow and I almost cried.  I just want to leave the front door open and wave goodbye to the dogs but DH would never have that.  I just hope the dog doesn't get ill because that is something I just don't want to clean up bright and early in the morning.

    Haha- If he hasn't brought it back up he is probably digesting it nicely... :)

     And last time I checked they eat their own poop on occasion.
