This is our first baby, i am 9 weeks along. Has anyone ever taken a "how to" class while pregnant. My husband has never even changed a diaper so we wanted to take a class that teaches you how to do all of the baby need to know hows?? Any suggestions..thanks!

P.S. Is anyone else sooooo tired! I go to bed at 8:30 get to work by 8:30 am and feel like i haven't slept in days!!!!

I was looking at classes yesterday. Go to the Baptist and St. Vincent's Hispital websites. St. Vincents actually has the schedule up and Baptist has a number you can call.

We took a parenting class at Baptist Hospital, it was really basic and taught things like changing diapers, bathing, etc..

I was EXHAUSTED in my 1st trimester - I came home from work and passed out on the couch, got up to eat, went back to lay down and then got up to go to bed. Thankfully it only lasted 'til 13ish weeks or so.

We did the LD class at Baptist and it was a lot of helpful information. I will admit though that most of it flys out the window when you go into labor. I know that they offer many classes, everything from BF to CPR. The main number for Baptist is 202-2000 and they can transfer you to who you would need to speak with to register.

I remember the tired days-it's good preparation for the sleepless nights:)

im 12 weeks pregnant & was planning on doing the same with the birth classes.Right now im still working so as soon as i go on maternity leave thats the next step...I wish i could go to st.vincents again but by this being my 3rd time pregnant & i had a miscarriage & a still birth w/ my first 2 they sent me 2 shands for HIGH RISK..shands offer child child birth classes..... I still have the tiredness i can take 2 to 3 naps a day and still feel the same.....GOOD LUCK with your pregnancy !!! Yes
