Finally asleep!

DS finally fell asleep after playing in his crib for 30-45 min. He would get quiet for a few minutes then babble. I know he was ready for his nap- we was doing the head bob in the car.

Has your LO ever done this? How long is too long to leave him in there? (He wasn't crying- just babbling and playing with his lovey.)

    Nap time is nap time, even if DS doesn't want to sleep.  Sometimes, if he (rarely) falls asleep in the car, he will be too refreshed to take a nap - I still put him in his crib for quiet time and he hangs out, sucking his thumb and cuddling with his lovey.

    I think it's fine to leave your kid be if they are quiet and not crying.

    DD played in her crib for about an hour today before falling asleep.  She then slept for almost 2 hrs.   She tends to do this a lot more lately.  She's quiet and not crying, so we just let her play until she falls asleep.

    she plays a lot and sometimes if she is overtired, she cries for a few minutes too:( but usually she plays for about 20 min and then falls asleep for 1.5 hour and plays in her crib for another 30 min
