Ew! Ew! Ew! I think my LO would have to be pretty effing miserable for me to do that, but yes I might if it was the only way to relieve them because that's how much I love them! But like I said, they would have to be in some serious pain or something first! Yuck!

I think I would ask my neighbor to watch him for 10 minutes while I went to the store to get a bulb syringe.

I love my DS, but that's a little gross.

Did they refer to the Nose Frida? If so, then yes, I do suck snot out with my mouth (kinda). It's an aspirator that has a piece that attaches to another piece and you use your mouth to suck out snot. There is no way the snot would ever make it into or even near your mouth though!

It IS gross and we have had to do it! Sad

The bulb syringe just could not get enough out and she really could not breath. S was like 3 weeks old.

DH did it and it was really yucky but better than a baby that was struggling to catch a breath.

No...they were literally doing it with their mouths. But my cousin is from Japan she she brought me something similar to the nose frida. I was terrified to try it because I just knew I would get snot in my mouth...But it really does work great.

Speaking of snot suckers, we got an electric one from Babies R Us, and love it! DD doesn't mind us using it. She pulled back and shrieked when we tried to use the bulb.
