Lily is jaundiced (slightly) and the doc has her sunbathing 3x per day. Penny is not. Penny's poo has already turned to the mustard yellow, but Lily's is still pretty dark.
Is this due to Lily being jaundiced? Has anyone else experienced this?
Our girls both had jaundice, Grace was worse and hers lasted longer which forced us to get her blood drawn for several days in a row. This was around the same age as your girls. Both of ours had yellow poopy diapers through the jaundice. Our doc mentioned that part of the reason their poop is yellow is because it's helping get rid of the bilirubin... so I would think that once Lily's turns yellow it will help with the jaundice because it's a sign that she's getting rid of the amounts that are built up in her system.
