Stupid paranoid doppler question

I've been able to easily find baby's heartbeat for about 2 weeks now.  It doesn't seem like it has moved up very much.  I'm still finding it about 1/2 inch to an inch above my hair line.  For some reason, I thought baby would be higher by this point.

Anyone want to tell me I'm being stupid and paranoid and that baby is just where he/she should be?

    Baby will remain pretty low for a while.  I was pretty surprised too when my doctor would always check below my belly button for her HB.  But it was always there.  Don't worry, it is very normal.

    Mine's been pretty low too. The worst part is that the baby is so squirmy I can only get a few seconds of hb before it moves on.  I wouldn't worry about how low baby is.  It'll move up soon enough!

    You're a week ahead of me, but I've been finding baby's consistently for a couple of weeks now and it always seems to be in the same place. I guess it's normal!!
