disappointing crowd's reaction to movie valentine's day (spoilers)

DH and I went to see Valentine's Day last night.

Do you remember the scene where Bradley Cooper walks in where Eric Dane is sitting in the apartment and runs flowers over his face/hugs him? And, you know they are a couple?

The movie goers around me laughed and said "ewww"

I am SO disappointed in the close minded mentality of my town.

    Overall it was a young crowd, but I distinctively heard adult voices saying this near me.

    Was it a good movie though?  DH and I were going to see it last night but we were running late and didn't end up going.

    Jamie-  Nope. Lot of big name stars, but they all phoned it in. It was pretty dull.

    I actually thought the movie was really cute:O) It has a fair amount of cheese factor but it was funny and cute and overall a fun movie!

    The crowd didn't have the same reaction when I saw it...it was more of a shock then people being grossed out. You certainly aren't used to seeing Eric Dane or Bradley cooper in that type of role! 

    I liked the movie and was pleasantly surprised!

    My intent when I say this is certainly not to stir the pot, as people are free to do what they want, but had the movie shown more than hugging (I'm not sure if you're saying there was more than that), I might have eww'ed too. Accepting it, and having to watch it are two different things. Although I probably would've cried first since they're both so hot ;)
